Stone Town has a tropical coastal climate with warm temperatures throughout the year, high humidity, seasonal rainfall, and sea conditions influenced by the Indian Ocean. Located on Zanzibar Island in Tanzania, the historic city experiences only modest temperature variation between seasons. The main dry season, from June through October, is widely considered one of the best times to visit Stone Town. Temperatures are warm but generally more comfortable, humidity is lower, and rainfall is limited.
