What You’ll See

Grand Canyon West Rim

Grand Canyon West Rim (3.5 hours). The heart of the tour. You visit two viewpoints:

Eagle Point. Home to the Skywalk (if selected) and Native American cultural experiences. The natural rock formation here resembles an eagle with outstretched wings.

Guano Point. Hike to the highest lookout for the most dramatic panoramic views of the canyon and the Colorado River below. Many reviewers say this is the best part of the tour.

Hoover Dam Memorial Bridge (30 min). On the return to Las Vegas, stop at the bridge for photos of the iconic Hoover Dam from above. Quick and scenic.

Before You Book

  • Pickup time: approximately 6:20 AM from select Las Vegas Strip hotels. Early start to avoid crowds and heat.
  • Provide your pickup hotel to the operator at least 3 days before departure. If you don’t, the default pickup is Excalibur Hotel at 6:30 AM.
  • Not all hotels have direct pickup. If the bus can’t access your hotel, pickup may be redirected to a nearby hotel or bus stop.
  • No outside food allowed inside Grand Canyon West. If you don’t book the lunch option, your only food options are purchasing on-site.
  • Skywalk tip: phones are now allowed (2026 update). Bags, cameras, and personal items must be stored in free lockers before walking on the glass bridge.
  • Helicopter weight limit: passengers weighing over 300 lbs (136 kg) may need to purchase an additional seat or may be denied boarding.
  • Car seats: required for children 6 and under. Bring your own if possible.
  • Gratuities: not included. 10 to 20% recommended for your guide.
  • This is NOT Grand Canyon National Park. Grand Canyon West is on Hualapai tribal land. No National Park fees apply, but it’s a different experience than the South Rim.
  • Cancellation: free cancellation up to 24 hours in advance for a full refund.
