DMZ Tour from Seoul Tickets: Prices, What You’ll See and How to Book

The DMZ (Demilitarized Zone) is the heavily fortified border between North and South Korea, just 50 km north of Seoul. You cannot visit independently. A guided tour is the only way to access the tunnels, observatories, and restricted military zones along the border.

Here’s how to book and what to expect.

What You’ll Experience

What You'Ll Experience

North Korean defector meeting (30 min). The most impactful part of the tour. You meet a real North Korean defector who shares their firsthand escape story, followed by a live Q&A where you can ask anything about life on the other side. This is something no textbook or documentary can replicate.

3rd Infiltration Tunnel (40 min). Walk into one of four tunnels North Korea dug under the DMZ for a potential invasion. The tunnel descends underground and is narrow (you’ll need to duck in places). On Mondays, you visit the 2nd Tunnel instead.

Dora Observatory (40 min). The northernmost accessible point on the western front. Look directly into North Korean territory with your own eyes. On clear days, you can see the Kaesong Industrial Complex and Songhaksan Mountain.

Bridge of Freedom and Mangbaedan Altar. Where prisoners of war crossed back to the South after the armistice. An emotionally powerful site.
