What Your Day Looks Like
Morning departure from Sorrento. Meet at Via Marina Piccola (the port area), between La Scogliera Kitchen & Bar and Ruccio Restaurant. Look for the crew wearing MBS logo shirts.
Sailing the Sorrento coast. Pass by Marina Grande fishing village and the ancient Roman villa at Bagni Regina Giovanna on your way to Capri.
Blue Grotto (first stop). You arrive early to beat the crowds. A small rowboat takes you through a tiny entrance into the cave, where the water glows an electric, luminous blue from sunlight filtering through an underwater opening. The visit lasts about 5 minutes inside. The €18 entry and a tip for the rowboat operator are paid in cash on the spot.
Circling Capri by boat. After the grotto, your skipper takes you around the entire island. You’ll pass the Green Grotto (enter briefly), the White Grotto (stalactites and turquoise water), the Punta Carena lighthouse (one of Italy’s oldest), and the legendary Faraglioni rock formations.
Swimming stop. The boat anchors in a sheltered cove for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear water. Masks are provided. Prosecco and snacks are served on board.
